F1 paddleshift differences - GS vs GT

Out of curiosity is the manual paddleshift found in the Gransport exactly the same as the MC Shift in the Granturismo or was it a tweaked and improved version that went into the GT?

It runs a similar clutch setup but the gearbox is totally different.

As with this type of development they get better with every evolution and I would say this is the same.

The MC shift is a better, smoother, quicker and more reliable system.
