Fob duplication

I am completing the purchase of a 550 maranello and just found out it only comes w 1 set of key and fob as the current owner lost the spare over his ownership.
I think I found an easy way to get a key recut (standard auto FT46 blank) - but I feel a bit more stuck with the FOB.
Do you know a company that could replicate the FOB that I currently have?
Thanks for your input.

I would bet it would have to be through Ferrari as for security issues.
When I needed the engine ecu for my 360 and the dealer had my car in the workshops they wouldn't order it until I went down in person with proof of ownership and my passport.
I would be working a new key into the deal if you can.

You also have to worry about the lost fob and where that may be lurking, making re-programming of both keys probably worthwhile.

I've had a couple done by Timpsons. They have been the standard none remote keys (Just for a spare) for both my Audii TT and my Alfa Brera.

I had an R129 SL key done by some guys in Leicester. I'll dig out the name. Not sure if they do Ferrari.

Thank you - it looks very similar (though significantly more expensive) to the service provided by Ferrarifobs.com in the US. However I feel nervous sending my last set of key/fob oversea to get them duplicated.

There should be someone in the UK providing the same service, shouldn’t it?

I haven’t found anyone, but yes there should!

When you say it only comes with one set of key and fob, do you mean only one black fob (no red)?
as there are normally 3 remote fobs, two slaves (black) and one master (red).
The red fob contains the Alarm ECU PIN and an ID number, the black fobs only contain an ID number.
As far as I am aware, the red fob is required to program replacement black fobs into the Alarm ECU,
worth checking...
