I think Eminem is great; he is very clever at what he does, even his latest is a craik...

Thin Lizzy were pushing the envelope in their time too.

I guess for Adam Eminem is old scool...

I managed to miss seeing Thin Lizzy live I think! Seen various members at jams etc over the years.

Saw them around 4 times 2b1...Phil was just a brilliant front man.....He used to have a great line............."Are there any girls out there with a bit of Irish in them...Are there any girls that would like a bit of Irish in them"

There was a 1 hour programme on TV two weeks ago about them. I didn't reliase how influential they where...Bos Gendof was singing their praises and U2 wouldn't have came about if it was for Thin Lizzy's influence........

Stunned to read on here about Gary Moore's death - seen him with his own band at Shepherds Bush Empire and Leas Cliff Hall, Folkestone.

Great blues guitarist - check out his live versions of 'Story of the Blues', 'Still got the blues ', 'Separate Ways', 'Sky is crying' and of course 'Parisien Walkways' full volume when the wife is out!

Saw Thin Lizzy play once when a Parish priest refused to let them play in the RoI, so they quickly moved the gig up over the border.......can't remember though if he was playing.

Gary Moore was one of the middle guitarists...he was in and out of Thin Lizzy between 1974 and 1979...Think he left 3 times in that time and came back ..... He was most remembered for the album Black Rose which was a great success which was the album recorded in Paris when they wrote Enzo's latest song for Florence .....
