Realise won’t be everyone’s “cup of tea” but recently picked this up as it had the distinct novelty of being based on British roads.

I think the developers have done a remarkable job of representing Britain (well north and Scotland) in a somewhat idealised way.

I’ve particularly enjoyed cruising around in a Porsche 996 which did remind me of a trip I made to Scotland a few years back (though admittedly not a GT3).

No GS unfortunately though there is a reasonable representation of Maserati’s including a 2010 GT-S.

I think this is going to be in my Christmas stocking as i spotted it in my wife's Amazon basket the other day... Havenr played horizon since no2 as I prefer the motorsport simulator series but horizon is a good laugh

The last time the M138 was in the game was forza motorsport 2 with the gransport. Turn 10 have not put it back in the game since not sven as DLC... I reckon it's maserati not wanting the lighter more nimble chassis being exposed against the GranTourismo...

The Granturismo S in the last update for GT on the Playstation is a very lifelike in how it handles.
It's obviously not made for the track, and the traction control isn't as invasive as the real car, but it's close.

FH4 is very good. I've had it since launch (since this is exactly my cup of tea) and is (imo) far superior to the last offering, and improves on 2, which was previously the best in series.
As said above, it's all a bit of fun, but what a gorgeous looking bit of fun, with a well designed environment, which definitely evokes the right feelings regarding driving around in the UK -though the speed limit signs are unrealistic ;)

Bought it for my 11 yo son for his birthday a few months back and he loves it. He found Forza Motorsport a bit boring for one player but Horizon gives him a lot more. He has learnt a fair bit about the cars from it.

I have just bought two XBox One X 1TB with Logitech Wheels and Forza 4 Horizon & Motorsport bundles for the garage. Just starting building a stud wall to section off a corner area for the gaming enclosure! We have a dual seat arcade thing I bought from a gaming company years back. With 2 x 40" panels on the wall it should work out quite nicely ;)

That will be quite the set-up - paradise for an 11 year old I would say!

Good to hear there are a few of us on here. Not sure we have enough to warrant seting-up a forum club but if anyone wants to add me as a friend to compare laptimes etc. then feel free.

My tag is Norwich Ian.

I keep thinking of P.C. simulators and the likes of rFactor 2/Assetto Corsa. Keep getting excited at the latest scene-created maps, say the Transfagaryican’tremember the rest of it.
But then once I’ve sunk a grand (or more) into equipment, I realise I could actually visit it and do it for real. Would be a cool thing to have though.

I believe Assetto Corsa has a selection of Masers to play with...

I've played some AC, but on console (ps4) rather than PC (being that I'm a console gamer) and it is also very good, even with the limitations of the console.

My son was once top 6 on Overwatch (whatever that is) in the world, we he visited me in Denmark he went to this LAN gaming place and people recognised his screen name like in we are not worthy-mode....

He made some money opening new Overwatch accounts, gaming them up to a high level and selling them on, as much as £400 each at one time. Things change quickly tho.....
