Trying to avoid political bias, and bearing in mind what I do for a living, can anyone explain why this might be anything other the most insane proposal of the election so far?

It’s from Labour so what do you expect?

Quick vote grabber to the working class without thinking it through and no consideration for the loss of jobs.

Add to that the internet will be run by the same council lot that can’t even get my buns emptied efficiently and I’d rather pay as I do.

Original cost was £20b

By the time the Chairman of BT had finished the back of a napkin calculation, looks far more like £100b over some years with a concomitant destruction of any competition in the broadband market (or at the very least a massive restructuring of product offerings and value adds)

Basic basic errors and a demonstration of lack of real business understanding, is my take.

Still happy for anyone to explain why not as I hope I'd have had the same response if Johnson had suggested it

Election grabbing statements from all the Wankpots then for the civil servants who actually run the country to point out the flaws in the delivery plan - happens every time from all sides

Oh balls, I should not text when I am not fully awake but am glad it lend itself to some mild amusement for your all.

Found this online.
I find the whole mess very worrying as you just don't know what to believe.

There's problems there right off, though. 'Law to promote equality and human rights' What does that actually mean

The more a I look, the more I detect a certain partisan flavour to the categories. Care to share the source?

Cheers

It was posted on Facebook by a Labour activist who is a musician I know as I'm not tied to any political organisation.

But if you don't through in a laptop or smart phone to every one you have provided Broadband to, you will be breaching their human rights! Probably.
Just because the www is so close, but those without the aforementioned, can't access it. Legal nightmare.......

I've heard they will be issuing free beer and gin in their next manifesto pledge.

Well, they might, it's just as ridiculous!

Ahh, so probably fair to say it was produced by a Labour leaning organisation then. That seems reflected in the categories selected
