Front parking sensors on a Strad

I have a 2014 #4 seater Strad and am always nervous parking as there are no front sensors.
Has anyone come up with an aftermarket solution?

Whilst mine is off for paint I am planning of installing the metal strip around the sides and across the front where the plate fixes. Haven,t decided how I will switch it on and off yet.
Something like this:

There‘s always the old fashioned option of using your eyesight. TBH, I trust my eyes more than I do the slow witted sensors! (Though there was that time I reversed my 355 into a low bollard, trying to park outside an Italian restaurant...)

That a a bit harsh - lol but you are right, in reality I park most of my cars with the sensors screaming at me as they are too sensitive and the spaces ofe]ten too small especially the jag which is massive.

Its the things I haven’t seen that may help protect that precious front splitter.

The front number plate on mine has been sacrificial a couple of times now on high kerbs

My plate (illegally small) is now mounted above the splitter so I don’t have that luxury on the plus side it looks much better.

Trouble is they looked stupid back in the day, and look even more stupid now

Having said that, looking stupid come easily to me, so you never know

#scaf. I noticed these fitted to a used front bumper. Fitted to the later sports. They have 4 fitted.. Two in the front vents and two in these black holders. You could possibly fit these and use an aftermarket unit and simple switch inside as required. Not sure they work on white. On black they should be OK...
