I am selling a set of used Larini Sport De-Cat pipes (secondary-cat delete). These are the ones that are sold by FD, from the link below.

I previously posted this on MaseratiLife, but have posted here since there seem to be more Australians.

The '06 Gransport that I bought last year came with the Larini secondary-cat delete already installed. I thought that the de-cat was too loud for me, so I had a set of original secondary cats installed during a pre-purchase service. The pipes are in perfect working order without any issues before I swapped them out.

I am offering these for half of the current price, at $700 US ($915 AUD) + shipping from Melbourne. This is compared with the new prices of $1,395 USD + shipping (and customs) from FD. I've dropped the price since FD have dropped their price for new de-cats.
I think that this is very good value, especially for another Australian, given the possible savings on postage!

I am happy to work with the buyer on postage or pickup, etc.

Also from the other thread, here are answers to some questions I've been asked:

How loud is too loud / Why did you remove it?
My wife and I were both used to my previous car (Audi S5), so prefer as quiet as possible most of the time. I very rarely drive with Sport mode because it is too firm and loud if I'm not going for a spirited drive.

Will I like it / Do you have a Youtube clip of the difference?
Looking around the forum it seems to be a fairly popular upgrade for people who are looking for more noise or a throatier sound, especially at lower revs. There will be a small increase in power due to removal of an additional exhaust restriction, but that not the main reason for most people buying it.

I don't have any before-and-after comparison, I only drove the Gransport once with the exhaust installed. There are plenty of Youtube videos showing different exhaust/cat combinations for the Gransport. It's not always easy to tell the impact of the camera or other supporting mods, but can give you an idea of the type of sound.

Are these pipes compatible with my QP or other Maserati?
Unfortunately, these are not at all compatible with the QP or really any other Maserati model.
They will fit US versions of the 4200 Couple and Spyder, and all GranSport models (worldwide).

How old are they?
I'm not sure how old they are, they were on the car when I bought it. There aren't any wear parts, so the only impact is that it doesn't look new and shiny anymore.

How much will shipping cost?
That depends on where to. It can be quite cheap to Eastern Australia, I could even arrange pickup/delivery, but it would be more expensive to elsewhere.

Some estimates to the US that I found earlier were $60 USD for 5 business day delivery. $70 would get 4 day deliver and signature on arrival. Insurance for the full value would be a bit over $20.

Are you flexible on price?
Feel free to make an offer if you have a particular price in mind. I'm not in a rush, but will definitely consider offers.

Hi Andrew, there will be at least 20 4200/GS owners at Auto Italia tomorrow, so I'll put the word out for you.
My FD front pipes gave a huge improvement so happy to recommend.

No takers yesterday, but there were fewer cars this year.
I'll raise this on the Aussie Forum, as many of those guys are in Melbourne.
