10/1  that will be a weak mix, i can see the logic in why a mobile single post is preferred, i don't think stability would be an issue with a good quality single post unit and provided the car is lifted correctly it would be fine
Joshing for that raised eyebrow .........................and to see if were all still awake lol

Very similar to the Quickjacks I use except they are completely separate with nothing between them so you can lay on a skate underneath and move backwards and forwards easily and quickly. Bought them a year or so ago and just perfect!

Hey Frank,

You still a fan of these? I'm seriously considering getting some. In between tinkering, I need to be able to clear the garage for other DIY jobs and Caroline's floristry, So ideally want something that can be 'put away'. Also, if the garage is busy I can use them in the Cart Lodge.
Did you ever have the GC on them?
What model and size did you go for?

Or has anyone else used them on a GT and can advise on the best size? I'm away from the car at the minute and can't measure the distance between jacking points.

Has anyone used or know anything about these which look pretty much identical to QuickJack - Kwik lift link

Hello Sam

I’ve had the GC up on them and you need the EXT version which are longer to enable you to locate the blocks on the right jacking points.

As you are close to me, you are welcome to bring your GT over and try it. Best wait till spring tho as garage is full over winter and I’ve got a car parked over them ATM. That’s another advantage as they fold down flush when not in use.

Have spent literally hundreds of hours under them and my multi-concours winning Vanquish was all prepped using them

Cheers for the feedback Frank. I suspected I may need the longer ones.
I was thinking about the smaller ones with the EXT add-on frame for more versatility, but worried about adding the extra hight.

Cheers for the offer, I might take you up on it if I haven't pulled the plug before then.
