If Maserati have any sense at all they have to go for the Ferrari sourced 3.8 litre /490 hp engine , it will add so much more kudos than the Pentastar lump , look what the Ferrari sourced lump did for the 4200 , completely returned maserati to the world stage again , but true to form maserati have a habit of shooting themselves in the foot with quite some regularity i might add , really hope they make the right decision this time ..........its a no brainer really that along with the mid engine replacement for the gransport would complete the range for the next few years

Yup, I despair of the whole Italian motor industry at the moment. They've really lost their way.

Look at the c0ck-up they've made of Alfa and Lancia and now it looks like they are going to screw Maserati.

I reserve judgement and feel it is a very exciting time for Maserati.

Look at Porsche, cutting mid/rear engine car production but demand from BRIC economies sending big car production up. If they ha stayed with only the sports cars then they would be dead.
