Ghibli discs and pads.

My car is due for its six year service in a couple of weeks, and for me this is a bit of uncharted territory In owning a car this long from new, and perhaps a testimonant to how generally pleased I am so as not to have the desire to change.
The car only covers around 3000 miles a year, and last year I was surprised at it needing new rear tyres after just 15,000 miles or so, particularly given I am not a fast driver - I am probably the only person on here that usually drives in ICE mode!!!
Now with about 18,000 miles, and facing (for me at least, and I know I'm crazy paying main dealer prices!), a hefty service bill, should I be ok not to worry about being told I need new discs and pads with this sort of mileage?
Thanks in advance.

I'd be jolly surprised if your discs had gone in that time. Pads, maybe. but I'd not be surprised if not those either

I would have though you are only looking at pads.

Rule of thumb 2 sets of pads to a disc, 3 if you drive sympathetically

As above... take any MD recs of a need for discs with a pinch of salt... its the only way the franchise network can make any money given the lack of desirable cars they are trying to shift.

Thanks for the responses, the service is booked for a couple of weeks time, so hopefully no unexpected extras required!!

Get the MD to do the service and then any recommendations made by them checked by an independent and if they need doing get them done cheaper.
Sadly it's all about upsell with the Dealers I know as I have worked for a couple in 40 years in the trade.
