Just so we are clear.. JonWs car that Dicky has is the rarer MC auto shift which is the best gearbox by a mile for this type of car IMO....

Plus being a non "facelift" has the added advantage of not having a J'apanese style front bumper added.

I'm not on commission and highly recommend you deal with a specialist like Richard Grace. The car will have been put through a thorough inspection at Marios (Autoshield) and anything that Marios identified as needing to be fixed will have been fixed - hence the £4k spent on the car offered by Richard since it was for sale on the forum. Put another way, if you had bought that car privately (no warranty) you would have had an annual service bill (£1k?) plus the service would have identified and highlighted additional work required to a value of £4k to fully have the car sorted.

If you don't know much about these cars (as I didn't back in 2016 and I know only a little today) it really is better on your wallet to buy from Richard a car that has been fully sorted and has a warranty (6 months as standard and extendable to 12 months or more). You might pay more than other ads but the car will have been inspected and sorted - that means peace of mind. You might buy a cheaper car from ads, but wait for the first service under your ownership and see what the vehicle health check identifies. It is very easy to rack up a bill of £3k - £5k on these cars.

I bought my GS back in Oct 2016 from Richard and have been very pleased with my decision.
Rest is up to you....

probably wait for a facelift car budget about 40k if you have anything coming in soon thanks

I won’t have a facelift car at £40k, but maybe in 12 months or so. Good facelift cars start at about £46-47k.

Thanks to those who’ve recommended my services; always much appreciated. @shinds71, no vested interest from anyone on here, but many of the members have bought from me so are happy to recommend our cars.

I've nothing whatsoever against the black car you're looking at - my own car is black - I'm just saying that the blu med car is a special one amongst the more ordinary, if any Maserati can be called ordinary.

Colour always divides opinion. I’ve never known anyone dislike Med Blu but 3 people have said their wives didn’t like it in the last 3 days. We’ve always got our eye out for Granturismos, I’ve another one due in but it’s a 2016 so considerably dearer. Hope I’m able to find something to your liking.

It's the silver wheels, I don't think they suit it, look at this one Richard has sold, same colour and it looks the business. He also says he's got some Neptune wheels if I'd got £40k I'd go have a look.

You need to see it. Better in the flesh. And imagine it with gunmetal wheels. Dicky does love a shiny silver wheel. :)

I don’t deny it would look good with Grigio Mercury wheels. I agonised for about an hour when we were getting them refurbished. I think they contrast the car well in silver and make the paintwork appear brighter. You know I love a silver wheel @Felonious Crud but it’s actually pretty rare for us looking through our gallery.

I’m obviously getting old and not with it nowadays. Like I’ve said, I don’t disagree that grey would look good but I don’t think silver look bad either. I’ll swap for Grigio Neptunes if it’s still for sale in 6 weeks.

Us youngsters would defo have darker wheels on it, bruv. Not black, mind, just a satin gunmetal.

Just a negotiating idea for the OP, gratis. :)

I bought a Blu Med 4200 from Richard a few years ago and not long after saw a GT in the same colour in a garage in Yorkshire. I thought my car was stunning but the GT in that colour is something else. Take your wife to see it in the flesh and hopefully a little bit of sun and the paintwork comes alive.

I'd only buy from a well known dealership or specialist in Maserati. Unless you know a car personally.

Although higher miles, the spec of this car that Dicky has is magnificent and for me it's a special car. Unless you insist on MCS over Auto.

Guys, for what it's worth, David Hayton Prestige are a very reputable business. It's fairly local to me and they have plenty of experience with exotic cars.
