Got bored

Got bored looking at the vast expanse of dull black plastic under the bonnet of the Strad so decided to treat her to some carbon to go with the gorgeous carbon bonnet. Not everyone's taste I'm sure but so much nicer than black plastic. Carbon has never been an option for this though i doubt I would want to afford it at Maserati/Ferrari prices. Think this is a £7k option on a 458.

Still can't decide whether to replace the warning labels

To be fair the only carbon I have in the car is a bit of trim across the dash. Even the spoiler is dipped. Really didn't fancy chucking £6k at Maserati for a spoiler pack which had to include carbon mirrors and door handles which I personally don't like.

It's around £500 depending on condition of original panel. If it's mint it won't be more.

I did consider that, but it's pretty ugly under the cover. Lot's of odd bits floating around and empty space. I also think the cover has some bearing on how the cooling all works
