It's a lot of money but it is very rare and looks special. On a long term view, why not? If I was a collector, think I'd fancy it in my stable.

Oh, agreed. If I had cash to splash and a barn to keep the collection in and the time to spend lovingly looking after it (and its stablemates). Or I may, for the money, wander down to Alfaholics to see what they could do for £50k to add a little flourish to the collection.

I tend to agree.

Me too. This, for example, I really like....It's a bold colour but very unusual and it's the full beans MC, or at least the cabrio version of the full beans. That's low volume, rare colour and spec. Got to be worth a look.

Dave Walker? It's blue and it's very very nice.....

It is indeed, not sure I’m a cabriolet type of person and I’m enjoying the GS, nice Strad May tempt me, but I’m in the early stages of planning a Euro trip so committed to the GS for now...

The Spyder is a forum members car (per other thread). Sorry but imo would only appeal to a collector at that price and they would expect way less mileage for the money.

The thing with mileage on a car is that we all want low mileage but do you want a car that's not been exercised?
We all know the value of an 'Italian Tune up' but low mileage cars have basically sat still slowly seizing up for long periods.

To explain it another way, Kelly Brook or Hilda Ogden...
