I spoke to the private seller on this one when he was selling it a while back as gave it some consideration. However the wrap and price put me off. It was too much money, not a perfect car and I prefer the Grigio Alfieri original paint anyway. Pointless to buy at that price and remove the wrap with the risk of what is left behind. At a price much further south it could make sense.

I'd say there is a deal to be done as the seller won't be selling this easily at all.
Hi, do you recall what made this a less than perfect car? I am considering buying it, and have put in an offer subject to a pre-purchase inspection, which has been approved.

Not sure from memory but will check back on my emails to see if anything triggers the memory banks.

The wrap was the biggest issue followed by at the time a price I felt a smidge too heavy.

I am guessing though that the price has eased in line with all GS's it seems last year or two?

I know the owner of the wrapped car, John, and have seen the car several times. He's owned and cherished it for several years and simply fancies a change. The wrap was an attempt to achieve a change without changing the car, but he fancies something different.

When I last saw it pre wrap it was immaculate. He's fussy. Excellent history with recent clutch from what I recall.
Any chance you could put me in touch with him? I may be the new owner (subject to a pre-purchase inspection)...

I offered what I thought was a good price - if it is in the condition as is advertised.

Personally I think they are unbelievably good value for what they are, and of the opinion they will be appreciating in value in the years to come. I can't see how they cannot! I mean, I do not see any other car old or new with the same character, charm, style, etc. at this price point.

I couldn’t agree more, this year has seen prices fall, they’re insanely priced at the moment. They’re on their way back up now though, all the best ones are selling now or have gone already.
There will now be a two tier market such as the 3200 market. Sheds and bad examples, leggy ones etc for around half the price of a really good one. With 3200’s it’s £10k to buy a bad one, and £20k plus for a really good one. Gransports will be similar although the bad ones will be circa £15k and the really good ones £25-30k or so.
