So the only reason why no regular on here will buy MAF's GS, which we all agree is top notch and wants for nothing, is because it is MAF's banana and we're used to only him turning up in a furious assault on our senses?

I'm sure a psychologists would have a name for this.

Has MAF advertised it though. Buyers will want details.....Its the only GS I would contemplate buying.

I know the owner of the wrapped car, John, and have seen the car several times. He's owned and cherished it for several years and simply fancies a change. The wrap was an attempt to achieve a change without changing the car, but he fancies something different.

When I last saw it pre wrap it was immaculate. He's fussy. Excellent history with recent clutch from what I recall.

The black MX-5 I bought as a weekend car post-GS had had its roof wrapped by the previous owner. When it was removed for resale with a Mazda "used approved" warranty there was a speckling of tiny white dots where the black surface layer had come off with the wrap. I don't know if that was a) due to poor technique in wrapping or b) removing the same or c) whether it is an intrinsic problem with wraps. Clearly they must have very good adhesive properties and perhaps older paintwork is liable to detach along with the wrap. The dealer had the roof resprayed before sale - an electric folding roof which must have made it easier.
Regardless, seeing that post-wrap/pre-respray paintwork I would be a bit wary of a wrapped car in case it needs a respray should you decide to remove the wrap.

The ADG car didn't work out for me, just waiting to get my deposit back and then back on the hunt.Alistair there is the owner and seems a nice knowledgeable chap.

MAF mate, the 'nana' looks amazing, someones going to be very lucky to have that.

Have you tried Merrian as she has a penchant for all things Giallo?

The Plátano Volador really is looking lovely, MAF. I do like a well-buffed banana, and that's gorgeous.

You'll have a banana-shaped hole in your life when she's gone, that's for sure. Just make sure she stays on the forum.

Nice bloke is Alastair as is David, comes on here now and again.

I have decided to not buy a GS now after my ADG experience with Alistair, and them deciding that they would keep a small part of my deposit without my permission (telling me he had the right to keep the entire amount if he wanted). He decided to start prepping some internal damage to the car despite me asking them to hold off until the inspection discussion was concluded. When I pulled out due to the work they didn't want to undertake as part of the sale, he decided to charge me for the work on the internal damage.

Needless to say i am happy to share my findings on the black 2007 GS LE they are selling before anyone else decides to leave them a "subject to inspection" deposit. LoLz

Think I will look to a newer model from someone like Richard G or Nuvola in the future

Personally I cant see how they can charge you for work on a car that's not yours.
They have made it better which might make it easier to sell.
I would tell them you want what you have paid for it's not theres.
My thoughts on it.
