Grantuismo Sound System Volume and Centre Panel buttons - chrome trim or not!?

I've noticed some cars have chrome around the volume button and some don't - mine are rubber....any other difference on these systems other than cosmetic? My car has BOSE.

The little chrome on the knobs help lift the interioir IMHO so may look to replace my boring rubber ones if possible?

I got told the chrome signifies that it has Bluetooth and the full usb socket !! Don't know if true

I have Bluetooth and USB socket but the USB does not operate an Iphone. I think the chrome signifies Ipod control via the USB...

I was told it was BT as well, not sure about the USB connection as that and the iphone connection is not a strong point of the car!

There are other small changes, some of which come part way through the MY - Italians.....

For eg, MY11 got colour coded speaker covers and MY11.5 got a different design of armrest. Something in the boot changed at some stage as well IIRC.
