A agree with a lot of the comments about location; I feel bad for raising it now! Actually you could argue that a serious buyer would make the journey, already 90% committed to buy, where a London car might attract many chancers and time-wasters.

For me distance doesn't matter it's all part of the fun.
Drove over 500 kilometers yesterday to buy what many would consider rubbish.
Did nearly 600 miles when I bought my 456.

I've decided to reduce my collection and try something new, so I've listed my GranTurismo. If it's of interest to anyone on here, feel free to drop me a direct message.
Sad to see you selling Mark, a great car, good luck with whatever you go for next.

I'll be honest, when I see all the positive comments on this thread, I question whether I'm doing the right thing. It is a lovely car, and I've invested in keeping it in good shape.

I've placed a deposit on a Lotus Emira, and I really don't need 5+ cars.

Such a good bunch on this forum, I feel bad for listing it. Ideally, I'd like it to go to a forum member who will continue to care for it.

Me to…..When buying a car like this to get the best you may have to travel…..It’s not like buying a Focus.

It would be my pleasure, whatever I do, I'll be sticking around on the forum and hopefully meeting up with members when I get the opportunity. Sports Maserati really is a fantastic community.

Isn’t the Emira likely to be a lotus last petrol car. I think this is going to be one amazing car. Lotus have never made a duffer since the Elise so high hopes for this car. Jealous but very excited for you.

That's correct. Last ICE car. V6 AND V4, with manual option.

Lotus are fundamentally pretty bombproof these days. Toyota engines for heavens sake.

I have been lucky enough to have 9 over the years and never had an issue with any of them. Even my first 1990 Esprit Turbo with 95k on the clock never let me down and that was my daily drive in 1995.
