I've never regarded the 4200 Spyder as a sports car, though lots do. It is capable on twisties, and fun on the track, but not as nippy as a sports car should be. Again, personal definitions.

I see mine as more sporty than sport. Most of all it's bloody good fun and pretty versatile. It's certainly a super car if not a supercar. The Goodwood classification is handy from a car park perspective.

Thanks. I'll have to look at the Vredesteins come replacement time. How have you found them in the wet? Autoexpress test seems to suggest they are great in the dry but not so good in the wet:
