GranTurismo obscure digital clock technical question

I want to add a reverse camera to the GranTurismo. One option is to replace the entire screen and radio with a modern system to also get CarPlay, DAB, etc. Nareman at Nuvola says they have a Pioneer unit they have used successfully.

However, one factory function apparently lost in doing this is the ability to set the digital clock on the dash.
The other is the service interval reminder but I can manage that no problem.

I can be quite OCD and I can imagine that the digital clock being wrong (by an hour at certain times of the year) will drive me mad.

Does anyone know if there is an obscure alternative way to set the digital clock so I could upgrade the infotainment and not go bonkers

He did...

I've found some guys - thanks to a member here - who do nav.tv (I assume) installs - automated reverse camera on the factory screen.

I think I'll go that route rather than the Pioneer

I cant remember if the digital clock reverts to 0000 When you disconnect battery, if so twice a year do that at midnight.

I looked into it matt- I got a range of quotes from 1k (inc head unit and fitting) up to 5k!
A place near dick lovetts in Swindon sounded the best. I decided in the end to keep it standard and spend the money on interior mods instead. I have found the boss stereo and head unit surprisingly good.
A reverse camera on the standard head unit would be great however.
Does it mean mounting the camera in a visible position or drilling the back bumper?
That would worry me a little.
I hope you enjoy it - they are wonderful cars.

I need to get more detail on the cam but I understand it is mounted under the "lip" of the boot lid. Might have that wrong
