On the track I was driving the Roma. The Strad was just for getting there and back.
Oh, and on the way back I stopped to have some Larinni sports cats fitted, so it’s now even louder!
so not a circuit in the country now then!!
Did you have the x-pipe before this mod? Is it much louder?
How did it feel after the Roma or is your report elsewhere?

I don’t have the X-pipe yet, and went straight for the 200 cell Sport cats pipes. I can add an X or H pipe later if required. It’s definitely louder, especially higher in the Rev range and in race mode. But pottering around in Sport is not much louder, so it’s all very manageable.
Matt has the X and Sports cats combo, and his car is PROPERLY LOUD!
For most people, I suspect an X pipe mod alone would suffice, at (I think) about £275 from Marios at Autoshield.

As for a Strad-Roma comparison, the Roma is considerably faster and more lively. You certainly need your wits about you if you want to press on in the damp/wet. Not surprising, given it’s lighter, has more modern engineering, and almost 200 more bhp.
The down side, of course, is that the Ferrari is quite a lot more expensive. It’s maybe around £140k cash, on top of the value of the Strad. The up side, is that it’s gorgeous.
