I've been a member of the forum for a while, but have just spent a lot of time looking around, so I thought I'd introduce myself. I live in Spring Branch, Texas, which is located about 30 miles north of San Antonio. My wife an I built a custom home on a 3 acre lot on Canyon Lake as our "forever" home and we absolutely love it here. Last Christmas, I purchased a 2013 GT convertible (cabrio for y'all!) for my wife and after we had all of the initial issues that the dealership lied about taken care of, we've absolutely loved having the car. As we have nice weather year round, we'll be able to drive throughout the year. It's really our weekend toy.

We lived in the UK for 3 years from 1990-1993 when I was assigned to RAF Lakenheath. It was the best 3 years I had during my 20 year career in the US Air Force. We absolutely LOVED it there and we've made it back several times over the past 10 years.

Looking forward to learning more about the GT!!

Greetings and welcome. That sounds a delightful setup and well earned. My Uncle is a New Jersey man and was also USAF.
Based here at Chicksands for a while. The stuff Mum got through the BX

I know Barton Mills well...lovely little town. I'm about 15 minutes from Wimberley, so let me know when you'll be in Texas and we'll treat you to some good old Texas hospitality!

Hopefully the surname isn't Pepper!
Thankfully, it's not!
A warm welcome and as above. Post some pictures when you get a chance.
These were taken the day the car was loaded on the transport truck for the trip from Chicago to my house:

Wow, what a great colour combination!

Mind you, driving around in something like that in our village you'd get short shrift..
and being so close to bonfire night in Dunchurch "gun power plot and all that stuff"
It might end up like Deliverance!;)

Phew, we can relax  That's a beautiful GC.
Where you in Chicago itself? We lived in Naperville for a while.
I located the car at a Maserati dealership in Chicago, so I had it shipped from there right to my driveway!
