spot on there Andy.

Come on chaps be fair, the GTR has been acclaimed by press and punters the world over as a classic.
If they'd have priced it at £100k instead it would still sell, Because its a Nissan it doesn't have the same kudos as a European sporting brand.
I remember on Top Gear they tested it against another car, but in conclusion the Hamster wouldn't chose it because he didn't like the thought of telling people down the pub he had a Nissan. If Lambo had brought out the same car you'd be all over it.

Not disagreeing with you K99......It is truly an amazing pice of kit that would blow a Maserati into next week for pure speed.......It will be a classic and remembered for being a giant killer.....But I still think it will date very quickly....Lots of cars from Japan have a futuristic look about them and that always seems to be a fad that just doesn't age well.....But as you say it will be a classic and is still awesome....

The GTR is an awesome car, no question about it but i personally would not want a car that doesn't look as good as it goes, i think it does look quite bland and the interior is really dull as well although i do like the sat nav/computer system it has.

Andy, The Countach is a good example of a European car that hasn't aged well but is still awesome but I agree with you that more come out of Japan than anywhere else

GF1, you're right the interior is bland but then I tend to find most black interiors the same. A red or White leather interior would probably look good but ive only ever seen them in black on the GTR.
I hate to say it but I looked at a Lambo on Saturday and it's black leather interior did nothing for me at all.
I guess I'm biased as I love the cream leather interior in my GS...

I think the Lamborghini interiors are terrible, especially on the Gallardo, horrible Audi switchgear and no imagination.
