I think this might have been mentioned before but I just stumbled across this video and thought it was worth posting. Does look like a worthwhile upgrade.

I’ve already got carplay from the SM group buy but I like the look of that hvac screen to go with it. Apologies if a repost.

It does look a lot better...it’s certainly not cheap at £600 for the unit and is it really worth it for what it does?

Also question reliability, I’m seeing a number of issues arising on FB group with the AuCar head units, now they’ve been fitted a while

I wasn’t aware of the cost. £600 seems high for that, you’re right. Unless I can persuade the missus that it’s an excellent Xmas present... Mmmm

Cheaper than an replacement new OEM HVAC (~£900) if you have sticky buttons...
Of course you could get your buttons done but I had one quote > £600 too, another one slightly more reasonable. Waiting for the problem to get worse. Luckily don't often have to play with the settings

Have you asked Roland from sticky plastics for a quote?

What's the point in this? Surely you are just just pressing a point on a screen, as opposed to pressing a button? If so, it's not bringing any new functionality to the system, just a different way of doing what you already can. Why bother?
