From what I have seen and based on my search (early 4.7 (2009/2010), MC shift, low-ish mileage), I would say c. £5k.

Has the GT gone up much then as looking at what is for sale it doesn’t feel like they have ?
Yes around £5k, some more like £7-8k, but they aren’t selling, so they’re on their way back down. I just price mine as they should be and they stand out amongst the over priced stuff and sell pretty quickly.

My GC recently sold via a dealer for the same as I bought it 3 years and 5k less miles ago.

My 4 year old GT was recently advertised for nearly 5k more than I paid for it 2 years ago and it sold quickly (not sure what for). The dealer bought it back from me for little less than I paid.

Thank you Richard, that is what I saw as well. Discussing with C4sman, he believes that for instance Porsche 997 will hold their value well in the future. What is your view on the GTS MC Shift as you are a specialist of the marquee? Thanks again

Entirely depends on which car you buy.

That makes sense Dicky. I am sure that the market must move back or level out as we move into autumn. Following the Vantage prices some of the early cars being advertised are just crazy money and like the GT most have been for sale for while now so surely prices must come down a bit. It is hard to follow which is the right price at the moment with differences of 15k between the same year and same model…Crazy times.

Your cars will always sell buddy. The product has always been hard to sell and very specialist but as you sell the best examples there is always a buyer for a great example….Especially with so much unloved ones out there.

My Porsche Turbo 996 with X50 and manual 6-speed box and aerokit front spoiler has just been revalued for insurance. The price is holding very very well where people talk of a softening in prices. As for the GranSport, I think their value is going to be in the rarity and scarcity of numbers. They may have taken a recent slump in price, but I think that will pick up due to the low numbers. The reason why GT RS and GT3's are still climbing the value ladder is down to scarcity in numbers. Porsche 911 and water-cooled front-engined cars are still climbing in prices -maybe they are just better marketed as a brand?

Mine is a last year (07) LE car with low miles and brilliant service history - I have owned it for 5 years and it goes to Marios at Autoshield every year for service and till now, not a single MOT advisory. At the silly prices being banded around, I'll just enjoy it and run it. I see myself at some going into a facelift GranTurismo, but the cost to change is ridiculously expensive for a car in high numbers that will depreciate over time. Predicting the future is fraught with difficulty, so I just focus on enjoying my two cars - both impeccable low mileage highly desirable models and good clean cars with good service history and maintenance records.
