I don't think it is any different to many of the easy apply spray and wipe coatings.
Meguires Ultimate fast finish is very good which I use on the daily drivers.

I bought some after you recommended and it is a really good finish and quick to apply.

C2V3 is the bomb. I probably use about 5 gallons a year. ChemicalGuyS V7 is another excellent product.
Just use them as you would any quick detailer to finish the wash stage and for a final buff including wheels and glass.

nice work, looks impressive Ryan - good stuff, now you need to move up to C1 or CSL with Exo and you will be even more impressed

I think I have some in the garage but I’ve been scared off putting it on. Was told if you don’t apply it correctly you have to scrape it off with a razor blade...no thanks.

Tell me it’s not a nightmare to apply?

I thought it was C1 you had - thats abit more involved than C2 but still easy enough - I was waiting on your invite or was you waiting on me to help you apply C1 ?

hammer and chisel :) no that was Crystal Serum, C1 can be removed with aggressive pads if needed - but its easy to apply as long as you make sure the surface its spotless and oil free, spread it across small sections of a panel and remove any excess with clean good grade MF. keep the car dry for 24hrs

Always wanted to get the crystal serum on, think the only official detailers near me for it are Reep in Yorkshire. Not aware of any other that get their hands on it and do it.

I applied to be GTechniq Approved Detailer but they already have a few local and I wasn't big enough to take over the area...

you can apply CSL just not CS-Ultra - I think CSL could/maybe be the old version of Crystal Serum which I have on the MAS

Spring C2V3 on, the last application was still well on there after being hibernated up for winter in the garage.

Gratuitous pic of the mounted F1 wheels as well, but bland I know but a work in progress.

The Crystal Serum Light combined with Exo4 is very easy to apply and can be hand polished off if you make a mistake. It is fantastic stuff. I have my XK convertible in a rather windy and dusty Algarve at the moment. Other cars are covered in it, but the XK stays clean. It’s like every time you drive it, the dust just slides off. And so easy to wash and dry and it looks absolutely gleaming again. Have yet to see how long it lasts, but if it needs doing every 6 months I’ll be more than happy.

I’d love to try something more stronger than the C2 but don’t trust myself so that would mean paying for a detailer to apply it.

Would love to get some Crystal serum on there though

If you can apply C2, you can apply CSL/Exo, believe me. It’s the same process, prepare surface (wash, clay, panel wipe) apply then wipe excess off, but x3 coats (1x CSL and 2x Exo) with at least 3 hours between coats. Cost me less than £150 to do two cars. Having done it, I wouldn’t pay a detailer to apply it - although I would to apply the next level products and to do any necessary significant paint correction.

I was doing a panel, leaving it for only a minute or two and then wiping the excess. I would say wiping away the excess is the most important step. If you don’t get rid of all the excess it will give you a hazy finish. So you need to work under decent lights. I managed to leave a small section on the front bumper, but I just polished this off by hand using AG SRP and then redid and it matched in perfectly
