GTS Interior Trim Repair - Advice Gratefully Received...

Hi all, I'm a newbie having finally taken the plunge and bought a 2010 GTS. It makes my heart skip a beat every time I look at it.

There's only 1 imperfection - a tear and marks in the leather / (vinyl ?) around the rear cup-holder. It is light grey finish.



Does anyone have any advice how that can be fixed? I was wondering if it is possible to re-trim the whole tunnel area which would look so much better than getting someone to try to fill it. Does anyone have any experience in pulling this baby apart in this area but more importantly putting her back together again.I have a diagram showing the detailed parts of the tunnel section, but no idea if it is deconstructable. And then, where would I find replacement material? Would I need to find something generic that matches (I can't see any forums on where to find genuine replacement Maserati interior trim, unless maybe main dealers have access?)

Sorry for all the questions - I will get the hang of this....

Welcome.

Yes they can be re trimmed and a few have. However I am not aware of a 'How To' being posted yet.

A good trimmer will understand hiw to strip it down.

Many thanks - I have reached out to a trimmer so will see what they say. I was contemplating if this was a DIY job but lack of reference on the forums might suggest otherwise...
