Hi All!
My GTS has decided to develop a strange habit. Essentially when i switch car off, all gauges fall to zero so this is not a needle sticking. However, at times i will start the car when it is stone cold, and the temp needle jumps up to about 85 degrees. It almost uses this as its zero point for that journey so when the temperature builds it suggests the car is overheating. If i turn ignition on and off a few times, the needle goes back down to a level i would expect. Fan cuts in etc i am confident it is not actually overheating. Just sporadically producing an incorrect reading. Is this a simple sensor/sender issue?
Thanks!
