Courtesy of Scaf.

It goes X cold start, H cold start, warms start X, warm start H, Race X, Race H. Also some noises of someone walking around.

Of those, Race X has to be the winner. Race H, at tick over, sounds like something off the “boat“ thread. And as we all know, in a Strad, all driving is done in Race mode

Muchos grassyarse!

Different but not sure which is better really. Both intoxicating.

It’s early days and only time will tell, fact that I am trying the H shows the X wasn’t t quite doing it for me.
So it likely to be H or back to stock.

i agree its the H is best all round
i had a guy in a 911 behind me on the m5 on the was to shalsy hill climb few weeks ago he pulls up along side in the service station car park and drops the window said it was so loud behind he had to drop back 800 yards

i told him to turn his hearing aid off

It does sound a bit more mellow and less aggresive compared to the x. Thanks for the comparison!

With my X i had people in a cabrio riding behind me and the feedback was that they couldn't have a conversation at all. They we're forced to enjoy the show :p

I had the Larini H on my Strad but it was silenced and changed it for an X which probably tells you what it’s like unsilenced.

The pipe is not silenced and is noticeably louder in all modes, you can really hear the valves open automatically at around 4000rpm in sport mode -could not really rear that from the car with either the standard setup or X pipe.
At some point I will try and takesome “drive by”video and get it loaded

From what I can see the biggest difference between the larini H and your ebay one is the resonators. The Larini H has about 20 inches of resonator in each pipe after the H. Hence it should be a bit more civil.

Indeed it is. Had it on my Strad and it was too quiet. Like twice the price of the X too

I can't imagine too quiet with sportcats and open valves though :)

They dont like to give discounts too. I asked what they could do, came back with splitting shipping costs which still meant 30 pounds shipping. But i guess you pay for the R&D and quality.
