Hi I’m looking for some new tyres for the Granturismo, and was wondering if anybody had tried the newer PZ4 version of the P Zero. I know a lot of people prefer anything but a P Zero, but wondering if the new ones were any better.

thanks

I've always found P Zero's to work perfectly fine in European warmer climes.
and that's were they do all there R&D!

I am one of the few who like my P Zeros, be aware there are many variants though so a bit unfair to tar them all the same. ( The AC came with it's own tyres with a semi slick pattern, according to Pirelli the best looking tyres they ever produced.) Those you mention compare reasonably to Michelin PS4s in tests, which seem to be a benchmark, try them and let us all know?

My brother in law had those same soft compound P Zeros on his Sierra Cosworth in the late 90's
They were awesome in the dry!

I've got P-Zeros on the Continental. Not sure what variant they are but they are pretty new. Very VERY noisy.

Agreed, like the Birmingham Smart Motorway section near the airport, spent millions on overhead cameras but not the surface!
Double whammy. Most people wouldn't be brave or stupid enough to drive fast on such a pants surface, and if you are, you get done. 100% Kill Joys.
Remember coming from Croydon to Milton Keynes on the M25, and when I stopped at the services, had to make sure the rear end wasn't broken or had a flat tyre.

Same with my Zero tyres, removed them 4 weeks after buying my GT, noisy and twitchy, Vredestein on now and much much better.
