Welcome John Boy. it seems you didn't get a PPI ;)

I'd call Sports Italia and see what they advise as I haven't a clue.

Best of luck

Welcome John Boy.
As you may've seen. Spoons is, in effect, our first level of tech support here.
Although, his depth of expertise goes way beyond what might ordinarily be called 'first level'.
Whatever Spoons recommends, we all follow. Without question. To the letter. T's crossed. I's dotted.
In a short period of time, Spoons has become our Master Yoda.
This would account for his 'individual' approach to all things Maserati.
Don't be put off by his sometimes cantankerous mien.
Highly off-putting at first. Then merely confusing. When you finally find yourself
(trapped) on his wavelength. His enormous presence will make itself felt, when you least
expect it.
My advice. Never be without some lube. Tissues and your cab fare home

Congratulations on your purchase and welcome to the club.
It should be very quick 5min job for a dealer or an auto locksmith if they have the programming software for your car, a dealer will probably charge you a full hour or so of labour. You can buy programming software and units, but might be a lot less hassle to get a dealer/locksmith to do it…

I hope you realise your post makes no sense whatsoever in relation to my previous post.

I wonder if you wish to suck my tiny Chinese balls instead.

Welcome John Boy. Congrats on your new car. I see you have met some of the regulars.

Regarding the key, trying SportsItalia would be a good plan as Spoons said, or a automotive locksmith.

@John Boy Welcome to another Hampshire member.

Sportsitalia as suggested are near Eastleigh so will likely be pretty local to you.

I know, I know. I'm thinking of adding a disclaimer to that effect in my signature.
Might get it printed on tee shirts also, as it may save a lot of hassle in the future.
From employers, colleagues, ex-wives, ex-girlfriends and ex's of all flavours.

As to your kind invitation. Do they taste like chicken balls in a zesty sweet & sour sauce?
What wine would you recommend to accompany? Blue Nun or an Asda chilled rosé perhaps?
