I have my 4200 with Voicey at the moment for annual service check up. Also to fit some valved rear Larini back boxes and a remote valve control kit. I had looked, thought about it or knew to be honest but the Larini's I am guessing use the existing 4200 OEM back box mounts. Problem is.....I don't have them as Marios @ Auto shield has my original OEM back boxes and am guessing after the exhaust works they did years ago replacing the stock back boxes with straight through rear pipes.

I will drop Marios a message to see if he still has them with the brackets as was keeping them for me in case I wanted to change them back. However nobody by chance has a set of back boxes or just the 4 x support brackets by chance do they? Voicey has kindly fitted my car in and wants to turn it around quickly but he is stuck without the supports now. I just need to get some supports over to him ASAP.

I did grab another set of 4200 back boxes a while back and these also have brackets......except they only have 3 of the 4 and are missing 1.....arrrrrggghhhhh :(:mad:

Anyone got any ideas or can help with any supports please? I can send the 3 I have and Voicey will make up a 4th but would be ideal if I could get a set across to him asap.

Thanks
Dean ;)

I managed to get out of trouble on this luckily. Had a spare set of 4200 back boxes I had bought in that luckily had 3 brackets on that I sent to Voicey and he made up a 4th so all good now.

Remote valve control and Larini's fitted to the 4200 now. I'm popping down to AV Monday mid morning to collect so hopefully it is the sound and solution I'm looking for.

Looking forward to the video. Were GS boxes not an option, or you wanted an even louder noise?

Just that valved Larini's came up for sale and seem better than GS boxes and not really any more expensive.

Hopefully should sound nice valves open and a bit quieter valves closed.

Still sounds great, the inner child still grins every time I start it. Runs well without any issues. I was working on minor bits when COVID hit, so I didn't tax it for this year.

But to get back on topic for this thread - I am considering valved back boxes; means I could leave my village without everyone knowing/use the car outside waking hours.

So, a video please of the new setup.
