As per title and just wondered if anyone owns any of the following motors she's been looking at with any feedback on reliability and/or advice etc

Audi Q3 Vorsprung
Audi Q3 Sportback
Audi SQ2, my favourite at 300BHP
Jaguar E Pace

All petrol versions

I regularly drive an Audi Q3 (not sure of all the initials but was top of the range 4 years ago) and sadly a diesel.
It is truly awful
Slow (2 L) cumbersome, poor acceleration. Bland and dark in the cabin, not particularly comfortable. I honestly don't know why people buy them. It is one of the worse cars I have ever driven.
'We' are now looking to replace and the best one so far is a Mercedes GLA petrol 1.3(!)
Lexus were only ok. Tried Jaguar showroom (Epace) twice and have not managed to speak to a rep yet let alone drive.
Volvo XC40 tomorrow BMW are a none starter apparently
VW T Roc cheaper end but no experience of them
Land Rover not considered as family member owns one and has lots of electrical problems so that one is out too.
All of them so far have had dark interiors which is not good

Best of luck

Funny, i just bought a Q3. It’s really for the wife as i use “her” Macan most of the time. The Q3 is decent, comfy, well equipped, well built and quick enough. We have the 2l tdi Quattro 185 version, I wouldn’t have bought the basic 150 version. They hold value well, look the part and all the family like it, including the dogs! The retained value is so high that we are paying £169 a month for a 4 year old one with all the toys including sunroof etc etc. Cheaper than leasing a Fiat 500.

Used to have an xc60 which we all loved, i would have another if they weren’t so expensive.

The Mercedes GLA is so ugly to my eyes, but there’s lots around so i guess i’m not always right. The newer GLB is nicer i think.

We found the Jaguar to be poor inside compared to the Audi.

I normally hate Audi but it just worked for us. Luckily mine has the optional indicators and tailgating pack! I don’t love it, the Macan is miles and miles better but for a daily family car, it’s decent.

Had a Q3 150hp TDI SportLine on lease before the current Evoque.

it was descent enough and wouldn’t say it was poor at all.

I’m happy to report our Velar has been exceptionally reliable since collection.
16 days to be precise......possibly a new Range Rover world record.
He who dares, Dave.
Benny will be pleased.

The 2 litre turbo petrol Q3 Vorsprung in a dark metalic colour like a gun metal grey and bigger wheels does actually look rather nice but the the SQ2 with 300bhp gets my vote, wife's reaction to that is "why do I need all that power"

My other half's car is a 2016 RS Q3 (our 'practical' car with towbar).
Not the most fuel efficient thing on the planet (averages just north of 30mpg when not driven like a hooligan), but otherwise is perfectly fine to drive and when put into sport or manual mode shows a fair turn of speed for an SUV shaped vehicle. Nice 5 cylinder burble. Comfortable enough with usual Audi 'acres of black plastic' interior.
One of the positives that made my wife choose this was that it is less wide than most small SUVs - a useful attribute on our narrow lanes. Suspect the SQ2 is even better in that regard.

our local main dealer has a lime green one in the show room, very nice indeed, although she's getting a new car i am going to hang on to the wife's 2004 X5 4.6is we've had it from new and only done 80,000 miles, it's a phenomenally fast car and also has that burble, the handling and road holding on that thing is amazing for an SUV

E Pace and Q2 don't look right IMHO so regular Q3 makes sense. I had one when my TT was in for a service a few months ago and it was very nice. Coupe SUVs don't see the need.

If you want power then what about a VW T Roc R? It's basically a SQ2 but looks better and does not have the 'knob Audi' factor.

e pace looks ok but needs bigger wheels, SQ2 looked ok as well with the quad exhausts and flashy wheels and not forgetting the 300bhp, not heard of the vw t roc and googled it, looks nice, will advise the wife accordingly

wife decided on e pace eventually and collected this little beauty today, bit of a lucky find with this spec, r dynamic p200 petrol, must admit i do like the styling/looks of the e pace, more so than the f pace, same with porsche i like the maccan styling but not the cayenne, odd
great customer service from the main dealer
