As you can see this section is filling up very nicely, with members, especially Conaero and Loz willing to dismantle their cars at will for the sake of helping other forum members, thanks guys.

Please reply with any how to request...

As I use my car on a daily basis plus open and close the boot, some days 7/8/9 times, this morning both key remote and remote release in glove box failed to open it, causes and fixes guys?

All help gratefully recieved!

Generally fuses or relays, tho more often its relays Frank , remember there are two one for opening and one for closing

Yes, its a bit tricky, even the rear bumpers. It looks easy in the workshop manual, but its a real struggle.

Once you have gained access via the inner wings its relatively easy to remove them , if there being re-painted you dont have to worry about light scratches , its re fitting thats really a two man Job, altho only momentarily whilst your offering them up and getting at least one bolt on each side , just make sure you have plenty of two inch masking tape handy for dismantling and re-assembly , mask up the body work close to the join where the two meet , its so easy for it to spring up lightly when removing and pulling it away , last thing you want is to mark any of the paintwork but im happy to do a full how to in due course just bare with me a bit as works getting busier now
