I didn't know that, mine was 2003 but had it. 8 do know that the software in the transmission control unit was changed from the 2002 to be less harsh.

Mine was 02 I think and pretty it only had ABS and ASR

And Sofast 1. I wonder if it's still on the road

Mine has been sorned too MOT ran out on Christmas Day 2020...it's probably in France still.

That's right, ASR rather than MSP.

The Carousel confused the MSP on my 4200 when I did a lap. So much I got the MSP not working light on. Great, if anywhere you need it, it's there.

A friend build a race Z3M Coupe with V10 M6 running gear - front and rear suspension, engine and SMG box. For a while the car suffered massive problems - the SMG ECU would constantly shut down as the software could not cope with the deceleration figures generated on the 285 section front slicks and would automatically go in limp mode with only 2, 4th and 6th gears available. Kind of suboptimal on a 550bhp race car...
