Decided to do the “Tributo Granturismo” driving course so here I am at Varano... Been training the in 2019 spec road cars this morning and this afternoon, a number of laps driving this baby... the noise is incredible.... If I figure out how to post the video I’ll get to it later... and a bunch more pictures

Now why does that look familiar ....

Have a great time & if you have a chance, can you let me know the VIN and the designation number of that car? The designation is on a sticker just inside the windscreen on the dashboard & should start PD or PT followed by three numbers and the VIN is printed onto a tube running through the passenger footwell, and will start ZAM as we all Maserati VINs - I'm trying to build a register.

Have fun & stay safe, they can be a bit twitchy!

Apologies, I only saw your reply after they put the cars away! If' I'd have known, I would have got the numbers for you.

No problem, glad you had a good time.
The one you drove is a later, facelift model so not in the first series of 42 which mine is from. But it's essentially the same and looks fantastic from your photos, and that sound ...

Is your’s a Trofeo or GT4, or are they the same spec?

Mine was a Trofeo, built for the one make series but at the end of the series at the end of 2015, all of the Trofeo cars were converted to GT4 spec.

Hahaha very stylish.

That really does sound like an incredible way to end a holiday to Italy... bit more of an event than merely visiting the factory (although they are not open for tours at the moment anyway). The car sounds great, was the driver coaching any good?

Who did you organise it through, was it Maserati themselves?

Yes long time indeed mate, must admit that I lost your number a while ago when my phone broke and not all my contacts were backed up. Hopefully we can meet up again in the Spring

I'm glad that it's not just mine that has everything vibrating & shaking and sounds like a cutlery drawer - a Prius it is not!
In thirty years or so, children and their parents will be scared and run to cower behind the older generation when they hear somethig like this.
