Live fast, get a lot of points on your license, and die broke...?
I dunno. The assumption that pointing out a ticket for antisocial noise makes me an old geezer is a weird one. Have you heard my car...?
Never mind. I’m off for my old man, fourth time’s a charm covid booster, so what do I know...?

Hi all, no updates for long time because not much happened.
I've done another service (oil, filters, liquids etc.) new MOT with no advisories and finally did the sticky buttons using Andy4200 method, pictures before and after attached.

I've had some spare time so I give it a good rubber seals, plastic trim, rubber trim and leather treatment again. I think it looks good.

Hello everyone, it's winter car's in the garage so I thought I will use that opportunity to replace the heater matrix. Nothing wrong with it but I haven’t got anything in the history to say that's been done so as a preventive measure a thought I'll do it. No rush just a couple of hrs here and there and it should be finished soon. That way another big bill out of the way. As you can see under the seats still original film protection on the carpet.

Hello, another update. All in pieces now and I must say I was very lucky to do it now as you can see on the pictures it started leaking already , so I caught it just in time. There was no evidence on the carpet or anywhere else, maybe slight mist on the windscreen on cold days recently.

New heater core fitted with new sponge stripes attached. Everything dried. Almost all back together now. Good moment to clean all the spaces normally inaccessible plus some leather treatment.

Hi All,
New to this forum having recently bought a 4200 GT last week and working my way through the great content on here.

I was wondering, the engine bay is a little dirty -- any tips for cleaning the crackle paint on the inlet manifold and on the cam-covers? The work done on the pics in this thread looks great

Hopefully posting in the right place but appreciate re-direction
Thanks
