I could settle for this

I have to admit that, although I can see the beauty in a red Maserati, I couldn't own one. Just too much attention for me I'm affraid.

Horses for courses. No Maserati is discrete. My Rosso Mondiale 4200GT is looking great in the strong sunlight at the moment having had a good clean yesterday.

I don't believe you are the shy type Miles......you drive a Maserati how much more attention can you get.......................Um drive it naked I suppose.

Good Lord Andy, I can't believe you've just painted that picture!

Ref the car I do know what you mean; I could quite happily sit and admire it for hours on end, and would not get bored. They look fabulous, however I can sit at the lights in my Nuvolari 4200 and if I want to blip the throttle, heads will turn, but if I don't, then the car can go (relatively) unnoticed. For me that's part of the GT DNA.

The same can not be said for the yellow GS that I test drove (the one that got away).....No blipping required for attention...Love it.

I find myself hankering after a GS more and more now, but I won't get too serious until next year. Mine will be worth flock-all by then with probably 80+K on the clock, but I'll change the clutch, change the brakes, sort out the body and spruce up the interior and then hope that someone doesn't get too scared by a high mileage but much loved 4200. Oh and the GS won't be yellow!

LE, MY07, at or around 20K, FSH, one owner, Grigio Alfieri with dark interior (love the cream, but it does take some looking after), oh and if I can find one with Larini's. What d'ya reckon, am I asking for too much? Oh and yes I do know where they all are. I'm on a watching brief.

Nice choice...There is a very nice dark grey one with red leather at DL at the moment, 19k on the clock.

Loz, the more I look at this the more I liike it and the red interior...With the exhaust as well it's a nice car. Has it got the wheel spacers as well? Love some of the questions that people are asking..

Q: Would you take £25k + 3 MOD aeroplane propellors worth over £10k each?
A: Usually but not always. Have you got a leather carpet with a picture of Paul Gascoigne Nephew embroided in seaweed for a straight swap?

Not bad Andy and a nice colour combination, but the miles are too high. Being my daily it'll be up at +60K in only two years. I know I may be on a hiding to nothing, particularly as I won't look seriously until early next year, but sub 20K would be ideal.

I do like the light colour leathers (apart from grey) They do seem to suit these cars better than black.
