I'm bulging...

... and opening the door to plentiful thread drift.

In the meantime, I've noticed that I've got a moderate size bulge in my front nearside tyre. Firstly, is this something I should get fixed right away? MOT isn't till December, but if its a safety hazard I'll replace both fronts and keep the good front offside tyre as a spare.

Secondly, I'm a big fan of the Michelin s/sports on my QP... what are GS owners riding on, Michelins or Goodyears?

Thanks in advance.

That is a big hazard, high risk of a tyre blow out.... I would get it replaced ASAP and avoid driving it or at any high speed if you have to drive it to the tyre fitters...

Indeed. I ran Supersports on my GS. They are quite firm, I understand Goodyear’s are softer on the ride.

Message received.

Blackcircles are offering 2x Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersports (235/35 R19 Y [91]) fitted for £315... good deal?

EDIT: Local tyre centre are doing 2x Michelin Pilot Sport 4 for £320 fitted, think I'll go for those.

Happened to me earlier this year, pothole impact did exactly the same to one of my fronts, a PS4S.
Annoyingly, had plenty of life left. Answer was 2 new fronts, kept the good one as a spare As you said. Luckily wheel was fine.

Michelin Sport 4S a BIG yes on a GS for sure; step change in handling and no mistake. Oh yes and do change it :)
