Importing Formula Dynamics DBW and ECM to oz

Hi All,

Has anyone had any experience importing the formula dynamics drive by wire or ECM modules into Oz?

I have them waiting in the jaws of customs and they want the tariff classification numbers for assessing duty (even though they are duty free thanks to the free-trade agreement and only subject to GST).

If anyone had those numbers available, my pain would be considerably lessened! Apparently the number is 8 digits with a 2 digit stat code.

I got screwed for VAT when I got my repaired/updated back from FD, even though VAT had already been paid when it was bought new. Thieving pikey scumbags.

There are ways and means of importing/exporting without making *** man aware of goods value! anywhere in the world.

We ship allround the world and come across many obsticles.

Yeah money is definitely better in your pocket I agree Benny, however, in this case there's only 10% VAT/GST and no duty payable so the cost is not too bad. Fair few hoops to jump through though...

Now if I was in the land of rain and grey skies and having to pay 20% VAT plus duty I would be thinking twice... I'd probably just move here and bring my car with me...

It was but I was too late. The tax had already been paid by Autoshield who tried gamely to explain to the thieving b4stards that it should be tax exempt but all to no avail. HMRC are w4nkers.
