Sooo disappointing to see the De Tamaso name associated with such a hideous creation

Looks cr@p, something volvoish about it. surely the idea of having a 4x4 is to have something that might at some stage in its life be required to go off road so some hight is required. or am I just being naive and the sort of people who will buy this type of 4x4 are the sort of people who 's idea of off road is that sometimes they may have to drive on to a polo field.

According to wiki, as of 2008 they are in liqudation and seeking a buyer for the trade marks...

Hum, its a great name, one I would consider, but not with a car like that. Maybe this is just an exercise to get noticed and then someone might buy the brand, inject the required cash, and that's another one saved. You never know, FIAT might buy them. Am I right in thinking they are not an Italian company? Was it not set up by a Brazilian racing driver?

It appears they are, I have just had a look on Italiaspeed and they are running an article on DT

As Gianmario Rossignolo counts down to the presentation of his SLC concept in Geneva, Pininfarina's former manufacturing facility in Grugliasco, Turin, has now been rebranded with DeTomaso signage.

Are those the correct photo's? How is that a SUV, or even a cross-over SUV? It's a saloon surely? and an ugly duckling indeed.
