Picked up an itune2air second hand predominantly to stream Spotify to the RR which had a 30pin plug.

Thought I would try it on the qp. Works a treat so now at least I have bluetooth music from phone.

It works great. I even unplugged from mas back to rr and music started playing where I had stopped it.

I thought I would be clever and buy a cheap ebay bluetooth version. Whilst it worked for a speaker dock it didn't on the qp.

Mine is itune2air wma 1000. There is another called bovee also.

Looks to be the same as the Bovee unit I have. I've found it to be excellent as it still allows the Bluetooth phone connection in the car alongside streaming music.

Ryandoc - it likely didn't work due to you not having any music in your phone library. I had the same problem before researching this and remedied it with adding 1 song.

I have one purchased song showing which is a ringtone but when I play from spotify it says unpurchased or unassigned on the top left of the screen under button 2 something like that. Not tried steering wheel buttons yet.

does it plug into the dangling cable inside glove box?
Mine has retro fitted parrot which works pretty well with current iPhone 6s. Who knows what will happen once this phone dies.

My parrot was working fine with a new SE

The BT standards are pretty solid

Plugs into the 30pin ipod wire I have in the glovebox and is powered from that.
