#cough# Tony Blair

Only taking you up on the implication that Tony Blair also lied to the British Public. He was subjected to an independant inquiry which did not find that to be the case. Part quoted below:

"The report does not question Blair's personal belief that there was a case for war, only the way he presented the evidence that he had.[41] The report cleared the Prime Minister's Office of influencing the Iraq Dossier (the "Dodgy Dossier"), which contained the claim that Iraq possessed the ability to launch WMD within 45 minutes, and instead laid the blame for the weaknesses in its evidence on the Joint Intelligence Committee.[42] "

However he was trying to rid Iraq of a tyranical leader rather than than have a good time and say f u plebs.

That’s nice, thanks. I think Blair was and is a total kunt.

f u plebs

I don’t imagine for one moment that some civil servants having a few drinks at/after work thought this.

Ridiculous storm in a teacup. I don’t think I know anyone under the age of 70 that stuck strictly to the lockdown rules.

Oh to have a life so stress-free to able to agonise over the minutiae of someone else‘ drinks party.

Yeah we have issues here too Adam but politicians do go to prison for telling lies and lining their own pockets if they don't go into hiding.
Any good cartoons? I feel this thread is very skewed to bashing the UK's elected officials whilst the derring-do and exploits of others go unrecognised.

Perhaps so, but doubt it. I do know that a funeral was restricted to half an hour, with extremely limited and monitored attendance.

There got to have been stuff about him changing the French flag? Although it did take the whole country almost a year and a half to notice!

Come on, Phil, in the interests of fairness surely it's time for you to start bashing the government of your new home country instead of the one you left!
Thing is we have Great roads with no pot holes Superb Food and Wine and on top of that some Stunning Women so no complaints from me Adam :)
