Had my second 4200 Spyder for a couple of weeks now and finally found a set of second hand Larini rear boxes. Had forgotten how quiet the car is without them. Much to civilised. So i`ve got 2 sets of original rear boxes if any body wants to buy a set please let me know.

Did you get the valved boxes or non-valved? Is there any real difference? (I'm assuming non-valved are like sports mode is on, permenantly?)

No just the standard.Had those on my previous car and plenty loud enough especially as drive 90% of the time in sport anyway. Didn`t look into the valved route as needed seperate switch kit etc.

If I were you I would keep them then when you sell the car, you can stick them back on and then get your cash back on the Larinis. I did this, saved a fortune, plus the GS did not seem to sell with the mods on, took them all off, sold the next day!

Enjoy....I am sure your neighbours wont!

I agree keep them, when people look they want it standard. Must say putting larini on my 3200ac is the best money i have ever spent on an upgrade, It s just great, even burbling along at low speed.

Really? The valves don't work as the 'normal' valves do (or do 42's not have valved back boxes?)?

The 4200 doesn't have valved back boxes. Larini do now offer valved versions, but they require the additional purchase and fitting of a switch kit. It's another £500 on top if I recall correctly.

It's the best method there is for non-intrusive ear wax removal! Every time I give mine the beans I can't help but laugh. I'm taking her over to Autoshield tomorrow for a service and I will enjoy every yard, there and back.

Will do P. I doubt even Marios will be able to get mine running any better than it is at the moment. I hope he can though!

She certainly needs an oil change, the stuff that's in has had a hard life!
