Thanks Stuart.
Always very kind.
I have rather courageously made a list of other small to do jobs while they are at it.
I plan to attend the next meet when it is back!
Haven't met the forum folk for a while now.

Update: Car went to Autofficina last week and I collected it yesterday! All is well.
The fracture happened due to undue stress on the cats due to the way they were fitted in.
This now sorted as well steps have been taken to make sure the other side does not suffer same fate.

While there yesterday, I had a quick chat with Peter and he confirmed the whole setup was 100% Larini and the browning was due to dirt deposits and corrosion. All this has now been cleaned up.
They have now put a black rubberised anti-rust coating under the entire car to protect against rusting.

All in all, very satisfied and the car sounds as fabulous as ever. Much chuffed to be able to drive it after a month's lay off!

Good news Sommi, glad to hear that you're back on the road.
Your neighbours however may not be so thrilled after their month of peace!

My neighbours are a good lot. Well they haven't complained yet.
That my change as I start off for Birmingham NEC tomorrow at 7 am!
Given the forecast it will be a nice blast up the M40, a much needed time together with the QP... and the Mrs. of course:)

Hi. I know this is an old thread, but im having Larini CATS fitted soon, so i wondered what the issue was with yours and caused them to crack? what was wrong with the installation causing them to stress and crack?. It would be good to know so i can watch out for this. Dave is the person ive just dealt with at Larini in selling me the CATs and x-pipe. Thanks.

Tangential, however I was wondering whether Larini stood over their guarantee to any extent?
If this was 'their' car at the time their system was fitted, did they acknowledge that they were
also responsible for the fitting, as well as the system itself? Just curious.
