Living with GT on a daily basis - couple of questions for a newbie!

Hey Guys,

We will soon be the proud owners of a GranTurismo and I wanted to know your experience with speed bumps and inclines?

Does the car handle these well and what's the best to handle those pesky square bumps that do not run the width of the road (like **** islands). I normally take it slow with our current car (Alfa Brera) and try to get one side up over the bump.

The GT looks lower than what we are used to, but not ridiculously low..

Thanks!

The front number plate takes a bit of a battering - quite how I haven't taken mine off, getting onto our drive or just parking nose in against a kerb, I don't know?!

Just go over any slight incline very slowly! :-0

Agree with all of that. My plate is shortened so is just the width of the backing plate. Think this helps if you number is short enough to try it.

I've a 4 digit plate .... and it makes no difference.....Just got to look out for the ones that cause you problems.... and they're not many... Just when you have a speed hump on an incline or a sudden change is about the only scenario..

Tend to avoid them wherever I can.. not just the numberplate / spoiler issues but the wear on the suspension bushes too..
