I do like the California and yours looks very special. It feels like a useable real world car rather than for the “collectors”

What a beautiful spec. One of the best looking Californias I've seen (and I do occasionally find myself browsing the classifieds).

Completed a three stage polish of the 944 yesterday. Using Autofinesse products (simply because that is what I had to hand), I gave the car a cutting polish, then a standard polish, then a glaze wipe over. Took maybe 4 hours in total, all by hand. Not perfect, but a big improvement.

I used to have a 944, my first proper sports car when I was 24.

Became a total anorak for the 944 and all things Porsche being a Porsche Club GB model register secretary for the 944 and 964.

I was about that age when I had my first one also. It was a 16v S. I followed that with an S2 convertible, then a 220 turbo, then a 250 turbo, and now this S2. I can’t seem to shake the 944 ownership habit.
If you chance across a PCGB 944 register window sticker, let me know.
