Welcome from a former Arizonan! Grew up in Scottsdale, now N of Seattle far from the furnace of the Valley of the Sun.

For your wheels, if you do get them painted, be mindful of the chamfered surface where the lug nuts seat against the wheel, there should be no paint on that seating surface when your wheels are ready to be mounted again.

While black wheels on a black car may be cliche, I love mine.

Enjoy your new toy!

Hi Todd,

Thank you for the tip regarding my wheels. I will be sure to let C know about that, but with him having owned nearly 100 vehicles in his life - yes, I do not exaggerate, he has a car addiction - he probably knows about it.

Side note and OT, in reference to your screen name, were/are you a side-arm/submariner pitcher, by chance??

Far from a submarine pitcher! Though of course I used to watch the Cactus League in Scottsdale as a kid. I was a submarine officer for a few decades-the ultimate rebellion to growing up in the desert.

So you grew up in an area with little or no water and then worked in an area extremely covered by it! Talk about polar opposites.

Stay classy - silver wheels! Plus it's got the chrome window and grille trims to tie in with the silver.
The wheels are called Birdcage - I love 'em. Welcome :)

The ultimate teenage rebellion, good sir! Actually paid a visit to the U.K. on a submarine - Holy Loch, Scotland, for the Perisher course. Given the celebrations of the evening, I don’t rightly remember much about it, but that’s another story.
