Just had an email from Maranello with some "demonstrators" for sale ("Demonstrator Flash Sale". Lots of Levantes and Ghiblis. Also, this one stood out as a bit of a bargain...£32k off list price (ok it's done a few miles but even so):

I would have one, though the V8, if it wasn't so long. Its hard enough getting the Ghibli into a parking space, it always sticks out at the front. A QP VI would be just too much of a liability to want to park anywhere. I'd be worried at people clipping it.

Just discussing the same thing point this morning with the guys at Emblem. Fancy the V8 but not the extra length. Oo er

I think the previous model the 4.7 GTS will be worth more than the current model in 5 years time.

That's a ot off a new one but I would have to look at the classifieds as early diesels are starting at 22k. Ok more miles but prices of these seem to fall very rapidly indeed.

A nice black with black GTS 3.9 tt QP VI with full carbon tarty bits would suit me just fine but am waiting until the spring when all the leases on the first batch come to an end.

You won’t have many V8s to choose from. I believe they sold less than 40 before they canned it earlier this year.
It’s a shame as the mid-life refresh sharpened things up well, made it look a little less lardy.

I still think it looks like a Chinese knock off of a QPV.

All the Graypaul dealers are sending this round, the cars are demos 18/68 plates and have done a selection of miles under 10k. The thing is, in the current climate they don't look that cheap.

Isn't 10k a lot for a bpdemo car.....Most dealers don't let them get much more than a few K PM before selling on....5k Max surely ?

I think most were lower to be fair but none of the prices were that exciting be it 1k, 5k or 10k miles.

I can handle a big car, had a 1975 Cadillac Fleetwood, 19' 7", no problemo! However, diesel with auto, no thanks.

And both the QP6 and Gaybhli are Chrylser 300C's' with knobs on. There, I've said it. That's the McEwan's Champion Ale speaking (7.3%)....

Is that true , underpinnings are Chrysler , I had a 300c on holiday in the US , took it back after 3 days , it was awful

QP V and Granturismo are also based on the Chrysler 300c so it’s been going on for a while.

Don't dispel Wanderers' rantings Matt. He likes his Gaybhli reference because he thinks he's being clever. The fact that both his car and mine have the same underpinnings will grind his gears.
