On the way to Holyhead via Shrewsbury. Now taking tea at Gladstone's Library.

Many people ask if it is pronounced 'Shrewsbury' or 'Shrewsbury'. The answer is, of course, 'Shrewsbury'.

Nice evening in Holyhead. Now off to catch the ferry. Gale force winds somewhat abated.

A few photos from the Tour:

A couple of shots of he TWO Mexicos at the hotel at Holyhead the night before we set off, and pics on the ferry. The night was incredibly stormy, with that day's ferries cancelled. But when we crossed the following day it was dead calm.

I finally got round to sorting out a few random photos from the trip.

Firstly, the great thing about a motoring holiday, is that a chap can pack proper luggage.

A Mexico and some other thing at Holyhead the night before the ferry. 'twas a dark and stormy night!

I think this is the almost unique Frua Quattroporte II owned by Steve Dowling (and mostly driven by his daughter Emma). Plus some sort of red sports car.

The ferry crossing the next day was dead calm.

And then most of us took the little ferry across Carlingford Lough.

This is why you don't always want to be in the front rank.

This is Torr Head. We couln't be bothered to climb to the top to see Scotland.

Giant's Causeway - The geology matches Fingal's cave on the other side of the Irish sea.

104556

A little detour to the Grinnan of Aileach - quite impressive.

Parked up at a hotel. Plus wildlife.

More wildlife! I discovered this robin trapped behind the grille of this 90th Anniversary Spyder as I was photographing the cars. But it managed to escape soon after I got this picture.

Some views from the top of Slieve League (Sliabh Liag) in Donegal. (With MrsMM.)

And a pensive sheep admiring the view.
