Having owned a 2.0 lt. Ghibli ABS, a 2.8 lt. Ghibli GT and two other 2.0 lt. Ghibli Cup cars, I am happy to confirm that they all three models had different performance, different handling and generally different characteristics.
Just as my QP4 Otto drives differently to my three QP4 Evo V8s.
I suppose that's part of the fun of owning cars that are partly hand built, and to varying degrees of quality.
The one thing we know for sure is that no two Maserati's from that era are identical, no matter what the generic spec sheets says.
A rather aggressive chap on Facebook was determined my green Cup wasn’t a real one because it was green and didn’t have the numbered interior (like the lefties).
Soon shut up when I sent him the link to the Enrico (RIP) site.

Update:

I've been working to improve the physics and started creating the other versions. Yesterday I received the book "LE GUIDE DE LA MASERATI BI TURBO V6 2L, 2,5 L, 2,8 L ET V8 3,2 L" and it's such a great source of information. If anyone wants a few pages scanned, please let me know.

What's the Cup final drive ratio ? On my GT there is a huge stamp 3.45. I still need to check if it's true
On the japanese cup, it's 3.45.
On the GT, it should be less, 3,25?
In 6th gear, at the same speed (130kmh?), the rpm of engine of my ghibli GT 2.0 was 500rpm lower than the one of my cup.

The front anti roll bar is different between the 2 cars. The ride height is different too.

Well that's not fair (and illegal). The author spent months working on this book (many of us know him) and he does not earn much on every item. The book is not expensive.

I don't know what should be on a GT.
Btw, if you want a quick GT you can install a ZF from an automatic QP4/3200, they got 3.95 diffs.

Please specify which model do you model exactly ? Ghibli ? Ghibli what ? Non abs, abs, gt ? Cup and primatist were styled GTs. There were also 2 generations of Ghibli open cup (GOC) which were ghibli with the group A full ball joint suspension.
I'm doing all as long as I can get the data.

Which gets me to another question:

How much camber and toe adjustments, minimum and maximum, can one make on a stock MY94 car? Same question but for the same cars with adjustable upper strut ball joints?
Thanks

Nothing is adjustable on the front of any biturbo (let's put aside Open Cup). The rear is partially adjustable on Abs and GT (and thus Cup), don't know how much. There is a rear adjustment on pre-abs but it's more alignment, not performance.
Why don't we have technical anwers from the Cup enthousiasts and owners ?
